A collection of those who broke their back
Whips and chains
Gave me the the strength to maintain
When others felt the pain
Was unbearable
To succeed whether bear or bull
Am I the only one entitled to this dream my ancestors could seldom foresee?
Or is it my duty
My obligation
To make more see
No more sympathy no remorseing
Our past tragedies
Stop allowing their sweat blood and tears to be in vein
When others felt the pain
Don’t return us to whips and chains
